Quality Policy

Our management philosophy first mentions “customer-oriented”. We obtain satisfaction from customers by providing them with first-class products and services. We also implement the following commitments to contribute to the society：
❶ We comply with the requirements of the quality control system and, at the same time, improve its effectiveness continuously to enhance customer satisfaction.
❷ In developing, manufacturing and selling of products, we observe related rules and regulations and, at the same time, endeavor to perform social responsibilities.
❸ We always check whether customers are satisfied with our products and, at the same time, improve our quality management activities continuously to enhance quality of products.
❹ Every section and division sets quality objectives in line with the quality policy and, at the same time, acts for achievement of them in an all-employeeparticipation system.
Our personnel in charge of inspecting duty or those engaged in important business are obliged to acquire official or in-house qualifications to meet the customers’ requirements for product quality. Also, in the employee training, the results are evaluated to assign tasks to employees in accordance with the skills acquired.
Our product traceability control is implemented by permanent storage of the records of each product in the form of an electronic data. In our product development or quality control, reliability testing machines and inspecting equipment are made full use of to verify basic quality of products.

Basic Principle
FUJI KOATSU FLEXIBLE HOSE CO.,LTD is situated in Hikari City, approximately 20 kilometers east of JR Tokuyama Shinkansen Station and surrounded by beautiful natural environments such as the small peninsular, called Zohbigasaki, facing Setonaikai Inland Sea National Park, the swimming beach, called Nijigahama, famous for its blue sea, white sand and pine grove and the river, called Shimatagawa, allowing plenty of water birds to fly about.
FUJI KOATSU FLEXIBLE HOSE CO.,LTD adopts a one-company integrated production system for flexible hose assemblies, coupling and pipe fittings or parts based on the responsibility for maintaining an essential part of oil- ,waterand air-hydraulic equipment industry and, at the same time, contributes to the society in the creation of beautiful Earth by helping eliminate global environmental issuers through efforts of our best-in-the-world employees who are aware of the importance of environment.
Basic Policy
❶ We develop an environmental management system to realize our environmental principle and to promote environmental preservation activities, and carry on periodical review and continuous improvement as to the system.
❷ In view of effect of our business activities on environment, we recognize that resource saving as well as development of environmentally-friendly products will lessen the impact on global environment, establish environmental objectives to the extent possible in both technology and economy, and review the objectives at regular intervals for promotion of environmental preservation activities.
❸ We comply with regulations of environment related laws and with other requirements agreed by our Company.
❹ As concrete measures we implement:
1) Resource/energy saving.
2) Waste reduction.
❺ Environmental Policy is not only notified in the company so that all the employees and other outside workers can understand its contents, but also made public outside the company.

Occupational Safety

& Health Policy

We intend to promote activities for occupational safety and health, in order to build up an easy-to-work, safe, and comfortable workplace environment by preventing occurrence of work accidents and illnesses in our workshops.
❶ Objectives of Policy in the company as a whole.
(1) We continue zero-occurrence of serious occupational accidents.
(2) We wipe out accidents occurring during work and paid leave.
(3) We stamp out occupational diseases.
❷ Commitments to make performance improvement.

We continue to improve the occupational safety & health management system for future better use by internal auditing, management reviewing
and by employing useful advices of workers
❹ Commitment to comply with regulatory requirements.
Not only do we comply with the rules and regulations in respect of occupational safety & health which are applied to our company, but abide by the requirements of administrative organizations and their related bodies which we agree to.
All people working under control of the company are provided with continual safety & health education, and their skill in job is improved. The Policy is reviewed at regular intervals. It is available to the persons concerned at their request.
